LUE’s international network enables numerous outgoing and incoming students to study at partner universities and in Ludwigsburg. Students also strengthen their international experience in the context of school internships abroad, teaching assistantships or international excursions/summer schools. Internationalisation at home is a priority too, among other things through English-language courses – also on-line and in tandem with international teachers. Every year we welcome teachers from anglophone countries as part of our "Ludwigsburg International Classrooms/ LICs" programme and are committed to the lively exchanges taking place within the framework of the teacher mobility of the ERASMUS + programme. In the area of teacher training, the European teacher training programme with bilingual (German/English) courses is established as an internationally oriented programme with a compulsory semester abroad. The English-language master's programme, "International Education Management" INEMA, established in 2011, attracts numerous international students. The programme, offered jointly with Helwan University in Cairo, uses a transnational blended learning curriculum to prepare professionals from all over the world for management responsibilities in the education sector. It has been the cornerstone for further digitisation projects in the area of internationalisation, which are currently shaping the university's further development (including IDEN, PIM, DIVA, INVITE).
