German as a Second Language

German as a Second Language (DaZ) does not exist as an independent course of study at LUE. However, trainee teachers of all school types and all subjects can specialise and gain an additional qualification in the areas of "German as a Second Language" and "Language-Sensitive Subject Teaching". We also offer the "Hochschulzertifikat DaZ" (University Certificate in German as Second Language) for students of Educational Sciences/Adult Education as part of the subject DaF/DaZ (German as a Second or Foreign Language).
