With small classes on campus, the technical implementation can also be more simple. We have had good experiences with a 360-degree camera with a built-in microphone and loudspeaker. In this setting, the camera should be set up in the middle of the room on a table, for example, and the participants in the classroom should then position themselves around the table. The camera is then connected as usual via USB cable to the lecturer's notebook, for example, and the lecturer is then the participant in the online conference with his notebook.
The only disadvantage here might be that the lecturer does not have his own camera.
But overall, this concept works very well for small groups. And above all, it can be set up very quickly.
