Mobility

INVITE 2.0 provides study and mobility opportunities through mobility windows, exchange programmes, and teaching internships at partner universities and schools.

These formats offer students the chance to engage in international learning experiences and develop intercultural competencies. Blended and virtual learning options complement physical mobility to ensure accessibility and flexibility.

Three Flexible Models:

  1. General Studies Module: ECTS credits earned abroad can count toward elective requirements.
  2. Topic-Based Module: Courses aligned with major topics (Migration, Sustainability, etc.).
  3. 20 ECTS Flexible Module: Integrating education and subject-area learning.

International Study Pathways:

  • Long-Term Study: One semester at a partner university.
  • Blended Mobility: Short-term stays combined with virtual learning.
  • Virtual Exchange: Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) seminars.

Teaching Internships:

Students can gain hands-on experience in international classrooms through teaching internships in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania, and German schools in Southern Europe.

School Partners:

  • Denmark: University College Copenhagen's partner schools.
  • Netherlands: HAN University bilingual schools.
  • Norway: OsloMet-affiliated schools in Oslo.
  • Romania: German-speaking schools in Cluj-Napoca.
  • Southern Europe: German schools in Rome, Milan, Madrid, and Barcelona.

Long Module: Teaching Social Sciences for an Interconnected World:

Developed with OsloMet, this 20 ECTS module offers:

  • English-taught courses on social sciences and education.
  • Virtual collaboration with international peers.
  • Project-based learning with real-world applications.
