Past:
Brown Bag Session 1st February 2024 "Gemeinsam Digital Lernen"
On the 1st February 2024, we organised a Brown Bag Session about the topic "Gemeinsam Digital Lernen: Impulse für den internationalen Austausch", which was held by Ms. Mareike Oesterle and Mr. Prof. Dr. Götz Schwab. They presented the digiTED project, which has developed a format for the digital training of teachers in teacher training, and aims to support teachers through international and interdisciplinary exchange by enabling them to try out and reflect on the use of digital media and technologies in their own practice.
We'd like to thank the two lecturers, and participants who have contributed to an enriching learning environment.
Excursion to New York, Hamburg and Bremerhaven
In the Summersemester 2023, 16 students (8 from our university, 8 from our partneruniversity UCC - North Carolina) went to migration museums in New York, Hamburg, and Bremerhaven. The aim was to recognize historical and global concepts of migration in the US and Germany and to imply these on the educational context.
