Armin Lude is Full Professor (W3) of Biology and Biology Education at Ludwigsburg University of Education, Institute of Biology (since October 2008).
He carried out the duties of a deputy professorship in Biology Education between 2007 and 2008 at the University of Kassel, where he had been a research assistant from 2001 to 2007. Armin Lude started his professional career as a research associate at IPN – Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education working in empirical research (1996-2001). He studied Biology with conservation biology as a major in Ulm and Marburg. In his doctoral thesis he investigated the importance of nature experiences for nature awareness.
His current priorities focus on theory and practice in the thematic fields of nature experiences, education for sustainable development and mobile, location-based learning.
